About Me

Andrea and her 3 kids: a woman wearing a red sweater stands holding a happy baby facing out in her left arm and two small children standing infront holding her legs, all standing in front of a pine tree while it lightly snows.

Hey, I’m Andrea.

I have three tiny humans who call me mama, a loving and supportive partner and one crazy dog to keep us all entertained. I am very passionate about pregnancy, birth, postpartum and helping parents to find the power within themselves. Being creative is part of my core being. I also enjoy connecting to nature and eating pizza. When I’m home you can find me with a kid attached to me and listening to a good podcast.

I have always had an interest in working with pregnant people and children. When we started trying to have a baby I dove deeper into the world of pregnancy and birth. I love to know all the information and couldn’t get enough about birth. Once I had my oldest I knew I was meant to work in the birth world. After I had my second baby,18 months after my first, I took the leap into becoming a birth and postpartum doula.

I have completed training in birth and postpartum doula certification, spinning babies, evidence based birth and pregnancy nutrition under my dietitian hat. Personally I have experience with unmedicated hospital and home birth, exclusively breastfeeding, tandem feeding, cloth diapering, and baby wearing. These are things that have worked for me and my family but are not the “right way” or “only way” to do things. I am a big believer in doing what works best for you. I support families and birthing people to achieve whatever wishes and goals they have for themselves.

I am also Registered Dietitian. I have spent time working with children living with type one diabetes and have additional training in nutrition during pregnancy.

I would love to chat with you to get to know you and see if I would be a good fit to support you on your journey.
